How wonderful ! I’m in a tiny town in southwest Australia and would love to do this while our town has its big Open Studios event and bursts with visitors galore ! Do you have a date you stop accepting images?
hi! go for it!! can't wait to see how it goes. AT this point it's an open window. As the tour and larger project shapes up I'll put deadlines on things ,but for now, it's open ended. :)
Wendy may answer this later, but from how I read it, there’s no end date.
“And if (when!) you host a DrawTogether Strangers public experience, please remember to share images (send to studio@wendymacnaughton.com), and tag #DrawTogetherStrangers on social media posts so we can keep the momentum going and the project growing, and keep track of its impact.”
Bravo, Wendy! The NGA did a great job of capturing the essence of your brainchild. I loved seeing not only the drawings, but the reactions of the participants. Beautiful!
Love this—such genuine openness and connection! And laughter.
That looks like so much fun!
Fabulous!
Such a fabulous video— it captures the Zero Gravity for the Soul feeling of the process!
The reactions of the participants warmed my heart. Thank you for sharing. ♥️
Wonderful human exercise in connection through art and play ! I’m going to give it a whirl in our home town !
wonderful! the toolkit is available at the link above. Can't wait to see how it goes!
This was amazing! I love it—so many smiles and so much laughter and connection!

So do it! And share so we know how it went!
I love this! Have you done it with groups that know each other already? If so, is it different?
yes! and it's wonderful to look closely at people we think we've seen (but really haven't Seeeeen.) I did a piece in the NYT about it. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/22/arts/wendy-macnaughton-diary-project.html
highly suggest trying and let us know how it goes for you!

SUCH a delightful video! I love this project Wendy, well done on creating it from thin air!!
wonderful way to connect people !
Got me thinking that an RV park might be a great place to host! I've got Covid right now. When I'm through I want to give it a try.
