I’m so excited for this! I’ve love Lynda Barry a long time and finally got Making Comics recently. I needed this nudge to actually start DOING instead of just reading. Right on time! 💜💫🥰
I always have a fear of drawing humans, but whenever I do try to get out of my comfort zone, I do realise that as long as I'm not too strict about every curve of the human body, I will manage to get something out, and it still looks decent enough. Just gotta get more comfortable!

When I see someone do something cool or surprising and I want to draw a picture of it, I pretend to do that same thing with my own body. Maybe I even move my body for real just like they did. My body remembers things better than my eyes do. Then I'll make a cartoon scribble a lot like you and Lynda teach here.
My 2nd graders are going to love this!!
