Love Bisa Butler’s quilts! The exhibit of her works at the Art Institute of Chicago was stunning and I recently saw more of her quilts while visiting D.C. I hope to soon be able to make some art myself, but I had carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release surgery this past Monday on my dominant hand/elbow and I can’t do much with it yet. 🤷♀️

I saw her work in Chicago and they were amazing! I spent the following weeks listening to Tupac, immersed in his lyrics.
