My daughter and I did the #Drawingtogetherstrangers project on Sunday. It was great and not as hard as I thought it would be. I am painting at at a music festival this weekend and I am going to try it again there.

I don't know how to send a photo. I posted about our experience in my newsletter. There are pictures there. This Friday and Saturday I am going to be at a music festival, the Edisto Blackwater Boogie, just a few miles from my house. I am one of the live painters. I plan to bring my table and sign and break the ice with your draw together activity.

These are great! I am starting the two-point perspective exercise tonight, a little late I realize. Question: for those of us who are new (I am new), would going through the 30-day drawing habit be a good idea or is hopping in for the weekly assignments enough. Thanks!

Hi KL and welcome! No need to go back to the 30-day habit (tho you’re welcome to anytime.) we will do a new one soon! For the 2 point perspective assignment, there’s a link to the 1 point perspective lesson in the dispatch - I suggest doing that one first and then you’re ready to roll!

I did some centering circles--actually a lot of little circles with colored pencils, and looked up an Agnes Martin essay. And that same day, I got my hair cut; out of the blue my long time haircutter/pal Mark told me he was about to start reading Agnes Martin's biography.

Hi, Wendy - What a lovely surprise to see that you featured my "Do No Harm" picture! My hope is that this abbreviated version of the Hippocratic Oath makes some small (or great) difference. Thank you!
