Ahhh, thank you, Wendy and Kyle! I was struck by Edie’s comment in the video about the possibility of creating spaces (and art) that are “wild, joyful, lively and connected”—the GUT! ❤️

Thank you so much for this! As a cis queer mama with cherished trans family members, it touches my heart that you’re shining a light on trans artists and issues, and inviting the GUT to celebrate TDOV 🩷🤍🩵❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Just when I thought I couldn't adore you more ... Thank you so much for taking the time to write and share this beautiful letter of support for the transgender community. As the mom of a transgender child (who is full of joy and knows exactly who she is), I couldn't agree more. And thank you for introducing me to Edie Fake - I am now also obsessed. Sending a huge mom hug to all those beautiful nonbinary people in need of one today.

Thank you Wendy and Kyle for this post and all that you do here. This cisgender woman appreciates learning from you and being introduced to Edie Fake’s art. Sunday Tea Dance delights me. Housing for Trans Seniors moves me. It really got me thinking about the community needs to support joyful trans aging.

I also highly recommend the memoir Pageboy by Canadian actor, Elliot Page.

Cisgender woman deeply grateful to have trans friends, family, and creative inspirations in my life, including Kate Bornstein, Jenny Boylan, Sylvan Oswald, Taylor Mac, Glenn Marla, Justin Vivian Bond (yes, those are all recommendations).

Edit to add: Becca Blackwell, glorious actor/performer/writer.

Also, did yinz know that Elliot Page is developing Hugh Ryan's "When Brooklyn Was Queer" as a virtual reality project? Brilliant, brilliant. The layers and the paths and the journeys!

This is a really challenging assignment for me. I *would* like to imagine a world where everyone, especially those who are immunocompromised, can breathe safely without fear of infection. I believe another world is possible, even as reality breaks my heart every day.

Hi, Kyle! 👋 OMG you're dating. So happy for you from afar! Yaaaaay for love 💕. Also I'm happy to know many trans people in different countries and they are all wonderful, kind, loving people. Happy trans day of visibility! 🥳

I enjoyed learning about Edie and appreciate all the emotional labor that goes into these posts. Thank you. I'd love to highlight the Out & About Bookshop, an LGBTQ+ Mobile bookstore that helps connect children and families with affirming stories. I've gotten to know the founders and we were honored to donate a set of LGBTQ+ books to our elementary school's Pride Club to ensure kids have access to a wide ranges of characters and stories. You can follow them on IG @outandaboutbookshop and/or purchase books here: https://outandaboutbookshop.square.site/

This post brought tears of both hope and grief to me. Thank you for this- just think about the huge breadth of learning you both provided to us: color, line, trans education, empathy practice, benefits of constraints… I could go on and on. Thank you thank you. Being a part of this group helps me feel less isolated and less just “different” in a hard to define way. 🩷🩷🩷
