This sounds lovely! I need to tap into gratitude. At the dinner table, my 8 year old daughter asked what our favorite part of thanksgiving was. And I struggled to remember. And I said that it has just become so much work and not a lot of joy for me. And he asked me what he can do to help me rekindle some of that joy that we used to have. Iām still not sure how to answer him. Maybe this will help.
Sending you a big hug @Nancy! My friend Shauna writes and leads women+ on journeys to re-discover our joy, and she has helped me so much in finding mine.
Thank you for this. Grateful for your generosity and vulnerability. These are hard times. So glad for the call to *draw together* to get through them. š
Iām new here and although I read about it did not take part in the 30 day draw, I was still āsitting on the fenceā with drawing and actually lots of things. But Iām in for this one Wendy and all here. Go us!š«¶
Delighted to see this as I set myself a November gratitude project to post a grateful pic each day ... I think now is a good time to switch to drawing them to mix things up š
Hi Kathleen, this is a little late and I hope you found the chat! If not, it's on the Substack home screen. Look at the bottom of the screen and there's a row of 3 icons: a house for 'home', an inbox for that, and two word-bubbles for 'chat' - its the word-bubble icon on the right.
I am certainly most grateful for you @WendyMacNaughton and for the individual and collective spirit of our group. ā¤ļøššš

To clarify - my husband asked what he could do to help make it more joyful for me. And I definitely could start with being grateful for that.
Itās those small but huge heart things for sure Sera
