Helllllloooo, friends. It’s me, WendyMac. As you might’ve seen, DrawTogether was featured on PBS Newshour on Friday! Ahhhhh!
So a big helllloooo to all the new folks joining DrawTogether! Since there are a lot of new peeps, I thought I’d give a quick run down on this DT Newsletter, where to find DrawTogether videos and podcasts, DrawTogether Classrooms deets, DT Merch, and all that fun stuff. Cool? Cool. You’ll be hearing directly from me in these newsletters, but there’s a wonderful little team of hard working brilliant, caring people who make DT happen. DrawTogether is truly a team effort. And now YOU are part of the team, too. Okay, ready? Let’s go:
Looking for DrawTogether video episodes? You can find the first season we created on DrawTogether’s website, and our YouTube channel which also hosts a few of our “DT Classics” - those are the live videos we shot the first few months of the pandemic. We’re currently in conversation with folks about creating more, so stay tuned for updates. :)
Our weekly DrawTogether Podcast (5-10 minute drawing experiences for kids of all ages) is available on iTunes or Spotify. Please subscribe, it helps us out. We also deliver new episodes straight to your inbox on Fridays via this newsletter.
Want to learn more about DrawTogether Classrooms? That’s on our website. Reach out and we’ll get back to you! Libraries, museums and community partners, that’s a good way to contact us, too.
Want to support DrawTogether? We love that/you. Here are two ways to do that:
1. Subscribe to this newsletter, and tell a friend. It’s just $6/month, and in addition to supporting DT’s creative endeavors, you’ll also get occasional bonus drawing/social emotional learning info, interviews, and letters from me, WendyMac. Click here:
2. Donate to DrawTogether to support our Classrooms effort, and help get DrawTogether resources and support for educators into schools. We are also providing high quality art supplies to kids who don’t have supplies in their classrooms, and you can support that effort here. All donated dollars are tax-deductible via our fiscal sponsor Intersection for the Arts.
Whew! That’s a lot. Thank you to all our supporters and community old and new who are helping us grow more curious, creative and caring humans through drawing. We say something in DT that sounds a little hokey, but it’s true: “Drawing is Looking, and Looking is Loving.” We also say “Everything is Better When We DrawTogether.” And we’re so, so glad you’re part of DT.
Pencils up, friends!

ps - Oh, wait, did I mention DrawTogether CLUB GEAR?
It was a great PBS segment! I sent info to the parents of all my grandchildren. I hope they follow up.
Wow! I was in tears just now watching the PBS clip. Congratulations! Onward and upward with Draw Together!
