This week is all about getting creative with the stuff around us - imagining how to transform food into paint and (on Sunday) turn boxes into stereos and castles.
In the classic DrawTogether below, Jason Logan (aka the Wizard of Ink) teaches us to make ink from beets, onions, and other fruits and vegetables we can find in our kitchen. And we get to draw those same veggies and fruits - plus color them in with our ink!
Making ink is a great experiment, and there are so many other ways to have fun with scraps and odds & ends you find around your home. We’ll share more experiments with making and creating on Sunday, in case you want to subscribe.
Have you shared with a friend yet? Costs nothing, takes just a few seconds, and is one of the easiest ways to put a smile on a face.
Happy ink-making and drawing, you magical wizards-in-training!
