Yahoo! What a wonderful ride it’s been! Thank you Wendy, thank you mom Candy, thank you Caroline, thank you Suso, thank you to the cast of thousands helping out in so many ways behind the scenes, and thank you GUT members for your continuing inspiration.
We lost our home in the Palisades Fire, but I evacuated with my GUT sketchbook. My collection of decorated boxes was consumed in the flames, BUT because of the GUT prompt to draw one of your collections, and tell a bit of the story while you’re at it, I have these drawings and am grateful my beloved boxes continue to live on these pages. Congratulations on Five Years of Drawing Together and thank you Wendy for you doing you!
So sorry about your loss! And so glad that what you did with GUT can help a little with that pain. Hope the recovery is as smooth and as fast as possible.
Thank you! I'd greatly appreciate some refresher instruction on posting images so I could share the drawings. Please advise as I absolutely don't recall where and how to do that because it's been a while. Thanks!

What a beautiful anniversary party. Wendy you are quite a creator and trend setter. Thank you for your heart ❤️ and love sent to all of us!
This year was my first GUT experience. It has been jet fuel to my career as an artist.
I live in a little area in Mexico on the Oaxaca coast. When our annual Art exhibition was abruptly canceled, I started a new one. 400 people showed up. It was a great and success. That’s your Influence Wendy!
Personally Agnes Martin spoke to me in a very poignant way . What a woman! She taught me to take time to find the simple that inspires me.
I’m thrilled to be part of your Draw Together Substack.
This is wild. This morning I woke up and was thinking about how much Draw Together has evolved over time, from IG live to a HUGE playful set, all the different activities and schedules we tried for the newsletter, trying to make it into the traditional TV world, pivoting to schools and how the GUT as we see it today came out of other doors being closed and roads being jammed and trafficked and because YOU NEVER STOPPED pivoting and trying and doing over.
and THEN I saw the five year anniversary newsletter in my inbox.
Here's to a lifetime of suffusing the joy of drawing into all of our lives ❤️ Happy 5 to all the variations of the DT teams and DT communities ❤️
Thank you so much Wendy and crew. I started DT kids with my 3rd graders (who received art kits - so lucky) and now I'm retired and become a grown up. You have made a difference in so many lives.
Happy Birthday! There’s so much to celebrate. Thank you for sharing the history of DrawTogether—it's truly inspiring to see what can be built with passion, friends, and a supportive community. As a newcomer, I’m grateful to be part of it!
Oh wow, what a story. I only joined a couple of years ago, so it was really fun to read how it all began. What an incredible journey. Congratulations on five years and THANK YOU for all you are doing!

Hi—my comment is below, I guess this isn’t the chat and I’m lost as far as adding images. Help and thanks!

💯 right, Ishita.
Happy five years! The January class is life-changing. I’m still going at least 10 minutes a day. So grateful for that and for you.
