Hello GUT family, and larger DrawTogether community of people who care about building curiosity, compassion, and creativity through drawing. (Whew, mouthful.)

DrawTogether Classrooms Art Assembly is NEXT WEEK!

Mark your calendars: Thursday, September 14th at 7pm EST/4pm PST

With a new school year comes a lot of big “inside weather.” AKA big feelings. And while weather always changes, one thing remains super sunny: DrawTogether’s 2023 Art Assembly is next week! All educators interested in bringing more drawing, creativity and social emotional skill-building into learning environments are welcome. Like all DrawTogether Classrooms resources, the Art Assembly is 100% free for educators of all stripes: classroom teachers, home schoolers, librarians, community workers, caregivers... Everyone and anyone supporting a young person’s openhearted creativity is welcome.

We'll do a little drawing exercise together, learn more about resources available via DrawTogether Classrooms, connect with our community of awesome educators.

We will also feature a Q&A with very special guest: Dr. Dena Simmons, founder of LiberatED, a collective focused on developing school-based resources at the intersection of social and emotional learning, justice, and healing.
