This week, we couldn’t pick just one Classic, so we’re giving you TWO. One (Fireworks over a Ferry!) for the approaching July 4th holiday in the United States, full of fireworks and celebrations. And a second (Emotional Fruit!) as we lead up to Sunday’s feature on Yoko Ono and the cool Illustoria prompts that she inspired. More on that below. Make sure to send us your drawings here — we love seeing them.
Winner Winners!
Thank you to the MANY of you who took the time to fill out the DrawTogether feedback survey. And a big high-five to Rachel Doebel in California, Jacey Choy in Minnesota, and Megan Gonzales in Washington, who were the lucky winners of three DT swag boxes!! (Psst…We have a few more giveaways this month on the DrawTogether Instagram, and we’ll have our online store up & running soon for those of you who might want to purchase some swag).
Coming up for paid subscribers - Yoko Ono inspiration
The Illustoria feature last weekend was sooo gorgeous, we’re keeping it going! Last Sunday, magazine editor and art director Elizabeth Headle brought us stunning hair mazes and stories. This coming week we continue our Illustoria collaboration with a feature from their Upcycle Issue, inspired by Japanese-American activist and artist Yoko Ono.
Consider subscribing for $6/month?
Wherever your fireworks (and emotional fruits) take you, we hope you have a fun weekend! Stay in touch.
